4.3 Mentorship and Talent Development is the capacity to recognise potential in others and help it grow without taking over. In this competency you’ll learn a structured Mentorship & Talent Development Cycle: spotting strengths and readiness, naming growth edges, choosing your stance (modelling, coaching, encouraging), linking skills to identity and purpose, and celebrating progress while preserving autonomy. You’ll build a repeatable way to mentor in therapy, coaching, leadership, supervision and parenting, so you can become a generative guide rather than a controlling fixer.
